Kaylie Holke, CCC-SLP

Owner and Speech-Language Pathologist

Kaylie is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with experience working in a variety of settings: non-profit, out-patient clinic, homeschool charter, early intervention, migrant HeadStart, and public preschool and elementary school. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego in Linguistics/Language Studies with a Spanish focus and a minor in education studies. She then attended San Jose State University, where she was named a Tapestry Scholar, and she earned her master's degree in education with a specialization in speech-language pathology. She has attended trainings through PROMPT, SmartEars, and by Nancy Kaufman. Kaylie has also served as a supervisor to Clinical Fellow and graduate students entering the field of speech-language pathology as well as to seasoned Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.

Beginning this fall, Kaylie will begin a PhD program at Chapman University. In addition to working as a speech-language pathologist and teaching at the university level, she aspires to conduct research in the areas of: service delivery model efficacy, referral processes, and the impact of perception of ability and disability on rate of referral and qualification.

Kaylie enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and Goldendoodle, Monty. Among her favorite pastimes are beach days, home projects, and most importantly, watching as her children master new skills.
